A Poet's World

I am a poet,
I write poems,
But people who draw,
Get the attention,
Its because its something that people can see,
Colors shapes images and lines,
Poets use the same things,
But in words,
We create a land of color,
Shapes of ideas,
Images in the mind,
Lines of words,
Yet we still lack,
I am a poet,
I cannot draw,
My hands wont let me,
They shake and move,
Distorting the picture,
Into something unknown,
I use words to create a world,
A world of words,
One that people who draw,
Cant,
Its a world,
In which,
Drawing has no place,
The air is of whispers,
The ground of lines,
The world of a poet.,
Which is mine.
